Visit Canada and Watch the Pan American Games
This is the perfect summer to visit Canada and watch the Pan American Games in person. The Pan AM and Parapan AM Games are set to take place in Toronto from July 10th to 26th and from August 7th to 15th, respectively. The Games will be the largest multi-sport event ever held in Canada, with around 10 000 athletes, coaches, and team officials from 41 different countries competing in 51 sports.
The Pan American Games began in 1951 and are held every four years for athletes from countries in the Americas and Caribbean regions, in preparation for the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and other international competitions.
Also taking place during the Games is the Panamania, a 35-day arts and culture festival. Hundreds of performances and exhibitions will take place across Toronto, showcasing diverse artistic talents from Canada and the Americas through music, dance, theater, dance, visual arts and fashion.
